One of my self improvement goals is to find 3 good things that I have done each day. By coming up with new things each day my hope is to learn more about myself and build up my self worth. You can read more about why 3 Good Things here
Here are my 3 things for today:
- I fixed lunch at home instead of going out.
- I asked someone if what I had done upset them – which is a break from the usual of just avoiding it (it hadn’t upset them, in case you were wondering)
- I remembered to do a load of laundry that needed to be done before it was too late.
Some days my good things might be silly, other days they will be profound. Some will be easy to think of, others not so much. But here’s hoping that by making myself think of the good I am doing I can lift myself up out of this nastiness that has become my pattern.
